THE COMPOUND

WHERE AM I?

Since this game doesn't have strict limits on what you can find, players can come up with the nearby landmarks! Cities, housing, random vehicles—whatever. The only places that are created by the mods will be detailed as they've become available, such as the compound where everyone wakes up.

Technically, you're a few hours off the west coast. California, baby!


WHAT'S IT LIKE?

It's two stories high, with three levels of basement. There's also a zombie-proof metal fence around the structure, and it gives you about four acres of land. The compound takes up about half of that.

It's also deserted, and kind of drab. Inside you can find supplies and provisions that won't go bad, but will only last four months. There's medicine and electricity. The computers all have a password... I hope you're a hacker. There are also TVs, but they only show static. For now.

You can find things like a small holding cell, kitchen, two person bedrooms, science laboratories, a medical bay and various empty rooms. Many of the doors are locked and require exploration. There's also a vehicle bay with a few cars and trucks that run on solar.


AND I WAKE UP IN...?

A small medical bay. There's a bed and you're covered in a blanket, and there's a small locker beneath you. Any pets you're bringing will be with you. Even that giant dragon.


OUTSIDE?

It looks pretty quiet out there. Zombies may be seen roaming the outside of the compound, but the rest of the world is silent. Also, flat as hell. Better start walking!
