1. It wouldn't be too easy to figure out, and as I mentioned in the OOC post there's a tiny piece of technology in it—if she were to put that in another radio, it'd also work. So she could probably plug it somewhere, though the functions would remain the same as the walkie talkies (at this time, at least)

2. It's more up to you than anything! Since it's your character and also a very real possibility, what happens during zombification is something I'll leave up to players. There's an IC reason if one person gets bitten and acts differently than other zombies, so it works out :-)

The default is like on a scale of 1-completely dead shambler, how bad is your infection, etc, but you don't really need to stick to it.
